In the mid-1960s, bell-bottoms became fashionable for both men and women in Europe and North America.By 1967, bell-bottoms had moved from high fashion to part of the hippie counter-culture movement, a style exemplified by love beads, granny glasses, and tie-dye shirts.They were usually worn with Cuban-heeledshoes, clogs, or Chelsea boots.
